Happiness is a word and feeling I have never been without,

It has helped me get courage when I felt afraid or was feeling doubt,

Was it when playing tag and jumping rope was my biggest joy,

Or when I got a bit older and my new scooter was my favorite toy,

Was it when I was in high school and hanging out with my friends was all I would need,

Or is it going to New York City to see Rent with my theater friends and always finding a new place together and seeing where it will lead,
Was it graduating college and working harder towards my dreams,

Or is the knowledge of knowing I will always have these friends and memories and I will never loose them no matter how tough life may seem :)
